Roll Call: Terry, Ron, Jan, Dave I, Dave A, Nancy, and Patty was about 7:20 PM

Phil Payne was a guest again.

***Dave I discussed that July 3rd date might not be a good idea for the club meeting, and the meeting was postponed to 7-10-08 to avoid conflicts with the long holiday weekend.  All agreed.

Patty handed in the results of the 5-18-08 shoot.

Jan introduced Phil Payne as a guest.  Phil again thanked us for the donation to the troop.  He talked about how he tried to get his troop out for shooting events whenever possible.

Jan also said William had a birthday today, and he said William told him he was thinking of us, but not too much.

Jan also said that John is working with Game & Fresh Water Fish Commission on youth shooting, and had a leg operation very recently.  Dave A asked if the Commission would recognize the NMRA range officer training as the equivalent as NRA range officer training.  John was familiar with NRA certification.  David I added the Ken Morris was NRA certified.  Dave A said people should contact Ken and John.  Jan mentioned that the Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission leased the land from Beau Turner and Turner Properties.  Jan went on to say that a committee meeting is needed to get more information.

Dave I asked about a budget for the Blue Jacket Match Award program.  There should be money for a sash, powder horn, prizes, and plaques as well as shipping costs.  Dave I thought we could make the plaques.  The bases are easy to make for a few of the members, and the metal labels may not be to much as in 1970, they went for $5 for a 5 by 7 inch plaque.  We could contact Pete or Phil about the horn and price.  Jan said that we would need the sash, horn, plaques, and five medallions.  The Muzzle Blasts had a budget surplus for NRLHF was $165,000 last year.   Patty was told the Foundation was in monetary trouble due to the drop off in attendance.  Ron said that might be true for the year, but the Foundation has money right now.  Dave I summarized the items for a budget at 1 horn, sash, plaque, with 5 regional plaques for 3-5 years including shipping.   Nancy added to ask for $400 if $300 is needed.

Jan brought the food and cleaned up.

The discussion ended a little after 8 PM.
