to order at 7:02 pm.

Minutes. Minutes were sent out in
e-mail to members and copies provided at the meeting. Jackie S. made a motion that minutes be accepted as read and Deni
B. 2nd the motion. Motion
was carried.
President Report:
None
Vice President
Report: VP was not present. Deni B.
read off qualifiers for each event. List will be posted to website soon. Championships will be held in December.
Secretary Report:
None
Treasurer Report:
None
Old Business:
Tall Timbers: Dave I. reported that each member that had
attended this event received a letter of thanks. The letter requested that each organization that attended the
event this year provide one person to sit on the board for next years
event. Dave I. reminded everyone that
John Cole had been the contact person in the past for this event. Deni B. made a motion that John Cole be
named for that position and Cathy M. 2nd the motion. Motion was carried.
Scout Camporee: Ron Dodd gave a report that the Scout
Camporee was well underway. Heinz
Bartell gave a more detailed report.
JLR members will be responsible for Black Powder which will be Saturday
9a-12p, Archery, Bowmaking, Hawk and he asked that JLR help with the Dutchoven
Judging and the Flint/Steel. Members
present that were going to attend were Kenneth M., Dave I., Deni B., William
W. Members not present that were to be
present were Dan and Linda Hutchinson and Jim Denbleyker. All members are invited to help with this
event. Mr. Bartell briefly went over
the schedule and physical layout of the camp and activity sites.
Squirrel Camp: Craig I. reminded everyone of the Raffle
for the Tooled Leather Trianglular Stool and asked for support by purchasing a
raffle ticket for $10 a ticket.

2007 JLR Club
Rendezvous:
Boy Scout Primitive Camp - This idea was briefly discussed. Members present did not think this was a
good idea.
Patty brought up changing the rendezvous date back to the 22-25
February due to another event being held that week. It was discussed that the club had originally changed the date so
club member from out of town would be able to attend. Patty volunteered to get in touch with those member and see if
they would like the rendezvous to be changed back because of the other
event. Craig I. reminded everyone that
BeBe would not be able to attend the week of 15 Feb. This item will be discussed at the next meeting.
Large Tent: Club members once again discussed purchasing
the large tent William has. Everyone
seemed to be in agreement that it is a good idea. William will give asking price for tent at the next meeting.
New Business:
Indian Week: John Cole was asking for volunteers to help
with an Indian History Week at Medarte School week after next. For more information please contact him (H)
