Jackie has money from the club targets that will be deposited ($209). Dave wants to go ahead and do a newsletter.

Kathryn said she would write about the up-coming voo.

John Cole will write about Squirrel Camp, and

Jackie will do a "Night Watch" article.

Jackie mentioned doing a "Highlight on a member" in the newsletter. It had been started, and dropped.

Secretary: (correspondence) Pat sent a letter to TVM thanking them for the gun that was raffled.

Awards committee: The awards committee (Duane, Pat, Jackie) was appointed during last month's meeting. Jackie and Pat met and will let Duane know what they've come up with, a basic plan, that will be presented at next month's meeting. William explained how another club gives incentives and recognition to workers by so many hours worked, they got a raffle ticket. Duane will have to approve the plan, and if approved, will be presented at next month's meeting.

Site Improvements: More screening was done on the building at the shoot site. The floor of the attic was finished also. The addition of chair railing on parts was discussed to prevent anyone from walking through it.

Rendezvous committee: Kathryn contacted Craig, who is in charge of prizes. He didn't know that he was to recruit people to donate prizes - he just thought he was supposed to hold them for the voo. She contacted Beth who had a list of last year's prizes to use as a guideline for this year's upcoming voo. Kathryn is still trying to gather prizes. She mentioned about getting a pistol instead of a rifle. A discussion then ensued about possibly starting a pistol shoot competition. William found a pistol on the internet and Kathryn called them telling them about our club, what we do, and would they consider giving a pistol to our club. They haven't heard back from them yet. A picture of it was passed around. A knife was mentioned (to purchase). Kathryn is working with Art and Nancy about the medallions. A circle medallion with a fox with the name of the voo and date on the back. They will let her know of a price. Because of all the work on the oven, possibly a beef or pork will be cooked in it this year. Kathryn is also working on getting musicians to come out and play after the dinner and drawings. Jackie told her to come up with a budget and submit it, to find out how much it's going to cost, and it will be addressed at next meeting. Also was told to do the same procedure with the gun.

Old Business:

Dec. workday is Dec. 14, Sunday. It is also the shoot. Workday will be the morning before the shoot at 8 a.m. Firewood needs to be cut. Also need to do mud for oven. William asked if anyone thought anything else needed to be changed, like the woodswalks. Everyone seemed satisfied.

January meeting is our quarterly meeting. William thought the out of town folks should be contacted to see if any of them would be coming. Pat said she would do the contacts. Jackie said the meeting was scheduled for Jan. 10. The Jan. shoot is the 11th. Jackie said if we change it all the club members will have to be notified. Jackie suggested leaving it the way it is and everyone agreed. The Jan. meeting will be Jan. 10 at 4 p.m.

Jan. workday: It was decided to go ahead and have a workday on the morning of the 10th at 8 a.m.

Feb. workday: Will be Jan. 31 at 8 a.m. Pat will send out reminders to everyone of dates via email.

Edgar was not present to report on whether or not he had contacted Richard Smith about the gun for the grand prize for the 04 voo.

Charlie is working on writing an article for Muzzle Blasts to publish the names of the raffle winners.

Pat talked about having a New Year's Eve party at their house. Everyone is invited to come and camp. The holiday falls in the middle of the week. so if you want to set up on the previous weekend, that's okay. Pat will email members and request an RSVP.

New Business:

Jackie mentioned that following the meeting and the shoot, that someone needs to do clean-up. Jan volunteered to clean-up after the meeting, and Dave will do the shoot.

Jackie mentioned that some club members would like to get together sometime over the Christmas holidays. It was decided to go to El Chico's on N. Monroe on Sun., Dec. 28 at 5:30. Pat will email about this and request an RSVP.

Pat brought up having a historian for the club, to take photos at the events members go to. Jackie mentioned that instead of photos being put in an album, that they could be on the website. Jackie said she would contact Beth who has done it in the past to see what she has, and also will check with Nancy Carter to see if she would be interested in doing it for the club.

Jan brought up that our Louisiana contingent, Squeezebox Charlie, sent a box of books and magazines (Smoke 'n Fire) to the club. A discussion ensued on how to distribute them, or possibly storing them at the site. Nothing definite was decided.

Meeting adjourned at 7:53.
